Want to do better in Reading, Writing or Math? Having trouble with your homework? We can help! Our Literacy/Numeracy Program provides students in Grades 7-12 with a supervised opportunity to complete, review, practice and organize for greater success at school.

Literacy/Numeracy School Programs

Ministry funding is available for students in grades 7, 8 and 9-12 who have been recommended for a remedial program in literacy and numeracy. Schools establish the direction and focus that best suit the needs of their students and there are indeed a variety of programs offered throughout our board. To see if you child's school is running one of these programs, please contact the school directly.

Literacy/Numeracy Community Programs

Continuing Education runs 7 Community Literacy/Numeracy Programs after school and in the evening. These programs are on a drop in basis and serve as "Homework Help" that provide students with a supervised opportunity to complete, review, practice and organize their work in order to help them achieve greater success at school. There is no charge for these programs. Students are asked to bring along their Ontario Education Number (OEN), which can be found on the top of any Ontario Report Card.
