What Does Well-being Mean to You?

Well-being is essential for student success. We know that students learn best when they feel safe and welcome at school, they have strong relationships and a positive sense of self.
As Ottawa’s student population grows in diversity, well-being may look, mean and be expressed differently for individuals and groups of people.

Join the OCDSB’s Advisory Committee on Equity (ACE) and the York Street Public School to engage in the Ministry of Education’s Promoting Well-Being conversation. Come and share your thoughts and ideas on the following questions:

1. What does well-being mean to you?

2. In your role (as a parent/community member/community partner), how do you promote and support student well-being?

3. How will we know we have been successful in promoting and supporting student well-being?
