Complete the Survey - Police Involvement in Schools

The OCDSB is holding a policy and practice review of the Police Involvement in Schools Policy. This includes a review of the School Resource Officer role in schools as well as a review of all activities that involve police in school that are identified as legally discretionary. 

 

As part of this review, we invite you to complete our survey to share your views. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Your responses are anonymous and confidential. Survey results will only be shared publicly in an aggregate format to ensure individual privacy and confidentiality is maintained.

The survey is open to students, parents, guardians and community members. It closes at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021.


NEW - Virtual group discussions for Indigenous students, parents, guardians and community members


First Nations, Métis and Inuit students, parents, guardians and community members are invited to share their perspectives as part of the OCDSB review of police involvement in schools. A member of the Indigenous Education team together with the human rights and equity advisor will facilitate these virtual discussion groups.
