Ontario announcement: Remote learning to continue until end of school year

Today, the Ontario government announced that learning will continue remotely until the end of the school year. Students currently attending specialized program classes in-person will continue to do so.

In light of the provincial decision to continue with remote learning for the rest of the school year, we were surprised by the direction to plan outdoor in-person ceremonies for all students. We will need time to consider the operational and health requirements to ensure the continued safety of our community as we move optimistically into the summer.

School staff continue to work hard to support students remotely and plan end-of-year activities. We would like to thank parents and guardians for your help with remote learning. It’s not easy to juggle work, school, and other responsibilities, particularly for those with younger children. We sincerely appreciate your support.
