Please note that if a property is declared surplus, the disposition of the property is subject to Ontario Regulation 444/98.  School Boards disposing of properties that are declared surplus are required to circulate to a specific list of public organizations for a period of 180 days.  This process applies to long-term leasing arrangements as well.  If there is no interest expressed by groups in the first offering, the property can be sold to any interested buyer on the open market.
