The OCDS’s Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is currently looking for new members. PIC works with parents, school councils and community partners to foster parent involvement and community engagement in support of student success. PIC meets approximately six evenings per year.

Every year for the month of October, Islamic Heritage Month is recognized in Canada. Islamic Heritage Month provides an opportunity for all citizens to learn about the history and culture of Ontarians of Muslim heritage who have made an impact in our communities across the province, as well as to appreciate the significant contributions made by the Islamic community.
