Elementary Remote Learning to Continue to January 25th

infoUpdate: On Monday, February 1st in-person learning will resume for OCDSB elementary and secondary school students. Learn more.

The province has announced that remote learning for elementary students will continue for the next two weeks. In-person learning is scheduled to resume for both elementary and secondary students on January 25, 2021. At this time, all the information available is included in the Ontario government news release.

Parents can expect that over the next two weeks, learning will continue in a similar manner as what your child has received this week. That includes the in-person classes currently taking place for some special education students.

Families in need of technology to support remote learning are asked to contact their teacher or principal.

We recognize the challenges that families experience juggling at home learning and other responsibilities. We will continue to provide resources and supports to assist wherever possible. Additional information will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

Our continued collective effort to follow public health guidelines is essential to ensuring the safe and timely return to school.
