Virtual International and Indigenous Language Classes (Junior Kindergarten - Grade 12)

The OCDSB is offering Virtual International and Indigenous Language Classes starting this September for students in junior kindergarten to grade 12. These classes are free for Ontario residents and provide an opportunity for students to learn a new language or maintain the language of their home or heritage.

OCDSB Statement Regarding OCT Hearing Against Former Employee

On June 16, 2021, the Ontario College of Teachers published a Notice of Hearing against retired OCDSB teacher Peter Des Brisay. The Notice outlines a course of conduct that includes allegations of grooming and conduct that amounts to sexual abuse of a student between 1990 and 1996. The complaint was directed to the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) from the individual.
