2019 OCDSB Indigenous Youth Symposium - October 24

Indigenous youth have inherited a long and proud history of culture, courage and resilience. The OCDSB is hosting a Youth Symposium for high school students on Thursday, October 24th at Confederation Education Centre. The main objective is to instill "Pride and Indigenous Identity & Collect Student Voice" to drive student instruction District-wide.
Throughout the day, students will participate in interactive workshops and break out sessions, and kiosks will be set up featuring various community agencies that support students and families. Some of these agencies include: Wabano Wellness Center and Ottawa Inuit Children's Center.
