The goal of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department is to obtain the best overall value for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board in meeting the requirements of our school learning environments and learning resources. Competitive bidding is the process used in obtaining all our purchases, and represents an opportunity for the vendor community.
We welcome vendors who are committed to providing quality goods and services in a timely fashion. Competitive bid opportunities are available electronically through the MERX website.

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ottawa Carleton District School Board is launching a new eProcurement Tool!

The Supply Chain Management Division at the Ottawa Carleton District School Board is pleased to announce that we will be launching our fully-integrated online eProcurement tool in a phased in approach. 
  • Phase one (1) will allow vendors to view, register and download bids online. 
  • Phase two (2) of the launch will be implemented soon and will include the ability for Vendors to submit bids entirely online in one quick, easy and convenient location.
On November 19, 2018, Ottawa Carleton District School Board will introduce bids&tenders, a bidding service that makes it easy for you to review, register and submit bids for goods and services online, 24/7.
 
Only Registered Plan Takers will be able to submit to future OCDSB bid opportunities.

Ottawa Carleton District School Board will join hundreds of purchasing agencies who have already made the switch. 
 
Phase 1:
  • Bid documents posted before November 19, 2018, will continue to be available on Merx.
  • Submission of bids will continue to be in-person and by mail courier until advised differently.
Bidders are invited to create a free Bidding System Vendor account by visiting our Bid Opportunities website at https://ocdsb.bidsandtenders.ca and clicking on the "Create Account" button. When creating an account, Bidders select commodity code(s) for goods, services and construction and the Bidding System will notify the Vendor by email of any Bid opportunities matching their commodity code selection.
