This component requires you to complete FOUR Grade 11 or 12 level courses with a specified international focus AND to complete at least TWO major summative tasks with a specific internationalized focus in any other courses between Grades 9 and 12.

Starting in 2020-2021, students joining the ICP in grades 9 or 10 must take at least one credit from the courses in bold. This requirement will extend to all students joining the ICP in 2021-2022.



Other credit courses, including Co-op and/ or Link Crew with an international or intercultural focus, may be eligible for Component 2 with the prior approval from your school's ICP Teacher Advisor. 


**A maximum of 2 Arts courses can be applied towards the ICP. 



Course availability may vary by school. Courses used to fulfill the international language component will not count as one of the four senior credits; however, a second international language course may count.

Part B:  Internationalized Summatives


With pre-approval from your teacher, you will be required to adapt the major summative task in any TWO other courses between Grades 9 and 12. 


Before starting, get your teacher’s approval using the summative proposal form on how you can take a specific international, intercultural or global perspective on the summative.
