OCDSB Speaker Series: Boosting Parents’ Knowledge and Confidence – Youth and Substance Use

Join the OCDSB and Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services for a virtual session that will provide parents and caregivers with the most current information on youth and substance use.

We will explore reasons why some youth experience problematic substance use and effective parenting strategies to support youth’s overall health and wellbeing. The aim of this session is to decrease the fear and stigma that can exist when discussing substance use, and increase knowledge on what supports are most helpful no matter where a youth might be on the substance use health spectrum.
