Share Your Feedback on the Revised Elementary Program Review Proposal

The OCDSB has released a revised proposal for the Elementary Program Review. These changes were made as a result of feedback received from more than 10,000 parents, caregivers, staff, students and community members during our recent consultations.
The proposed changes include revisions to boundaries and grade configurations, reduced student movement, development of a process to consider grandparenting exceptions and retention of more Specialized Program Classes.
Visit Engage OCDSB to read the report, view the revised proposed school locator and boundary maps, and learn about what we heard through our consultation process.
In order to ensure there is an opportunity for the public to provide feedback on the revised plan, we have extended the consultation period. We are running an online survey to gather feedback on the revised proposal. The survey will be open until April 24th at 11:59 p.m. An additional opportunity is being scheduled on April 22nd for delegations specifically on aspects of the revised proposal.
The final recommendations are tentatively scheduled to be presented at the May 6th Committee of the Whole, for approval at a Special Board meeting on May 13th, 2025.
