Facilities and Rentals
MacSkimming's facilities are available to rent on weekends. This rustic outdoor facility is best suited for Air Cadets, Girl Guides, Scouts and other outdoor-based community groups. Pleases see our rental fees and Facility Rental and Release Form
IMPORTANT:
All groups renting MacSkimming facilities must agree to obtain Commercial General Liability coverage in an amount not less than $2,000,000 per occurrence, including endorsements or other coverages appropriate to the activities. Such coverage shall not exclude injury to participants.

Trail's End
Trails End Field Centre (3685 Wilhaven Drive):
MacSkimming’s Trail's End consists of:
- Trail's End’s Lodge: for meeting/dining (Sits 48 participants and 24 beds in basement).
It is beautifully situated at the south side of MacSkimming with excellent access to walking trails, campfire area (firewood provided), forest and an open field for large-group games. Trail's End is a terrific spot for Scout and Guide weekend camps.
The Village
The Village Field Centre (3700 Wilhaven Drive):
MacSkimming's Village consists of:
- Village Inn: for meeting/dining (sits 50 participants).
- Galloway House: (Sleeps 28 participants (20 beds upstairs and 8 beds downstairs)) heated by electric heaters and 2 indoor washrooms.
The Village log buildings were originally built in the 1880's and brought here to MacSkimming Centre.
Hiking trails, campfire area (firewood provided) and the forest is easily available from this location.
