This program focuses on fostering leadership and developing teamwork skills, all while promoting safety and risk management strategies through learning outdoor skills, environmental awareness and stewardship for the local community and greenspace. Students will embrace the challenge of developing innovative solutions to a variety of environmental issues, such as climate change, natural resource depletion, air and water pollution, and waste management while in class and through experiential opportunities such as field trips, guest speakers and Co-op placements.
