About the 2025/2026 Literacy Numeracy Community Support Programs
Our Literacy/Numeracy Program provides students in Grades 7 - 12 with small group/individual instructional opportunities across disciplines to complete, review, practice and organize their work to help them achieve greater academic success. In addition, it provides additional support for students striving toward level 3, provincial standards. Students are encouraged to attend 2+ evenings a week to receive the full benefits of this program. The list below details the locations and hours of the programs we offer.

Program Dates:
- Term 1: Sept 23 - Jan 22, 2026
- Term 2: Feb 3 - June 17, 2025
Days and Times:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 - 7:30 p.m. or 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
- Students are encouraged to attend 2+ evenings a week to receive the full benefits of this program.
Cost:
This program is FREE.
Eligibility:
- Open to students in Grades 7-12 attending any of the four Public School Boards in Ottawa during the day, including Night School or other Continuing Education Programs.
- Students attending non-OCDSB schools (ie. Ottawa Catholic School Board) must provide documentation as outlined below for Non-OCDSB students.

Important
- Once students arrive for the first time to these programs, they will be asked to fill out the appropriate registration form on a device provided by the program.
- Ontario Education Numbers (OENs) are required. OENs can be found at the top of any Ontario Report Card.
All non-OCDSB students must bring the information below:
- All non-OCDSB students must have approval from their Day School Principal to attend the Program. Continuing Education will send an email to Principals to request approval.
- Proof of Citizenship and Status in Canada (ex. Birth Certificate, Passport, Permanent Resident Card, Landing Papers)
- Proof of Address (ex. Rental Agreement, Home Cable/Internet Bill, Utility Bill. Note: Driver’s Licence cannot be accepted as proof of address.)
- Ontario Education Numbers (OENs) are required as well. OENs can be found on the top of any Ontario Report Card.
