About this program

The OCDSB Continuing Education department, in partnership with the Equity Program team, is offering a reach ahead credit opportunity for students interested in building leadership skills by planning workshops for the annual Rainbow Youth Forum. This course offers students the opportunity to engage in a rich learning experience with the opportunity to participate in field trips, further enhancing their research, problem-solving, and/or critical analysis skills.

Whenever possible, the courses will integrate community partners to ensure the interconnectedness of the various subject areas. Students will therefore have opportunities to learn through virtual workshops, guest speakers, or collaborative projects with various community partners, such as the Rainbow Service Providers Network.
