Superintendent of Education (Central)
Prince Duah is the Superintendent of Education for Central Schools within the OCDSB. He oversees the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) initiative and the Family Resource Centre. He also actively supports the Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) and the Student Senate, recognizing the important role these groups play in amplifying student voices and fostering strong partnerships between families, schools and communities.
Prince is dedicated to building genuine and positive connections that help create fair and inclusive opportunities for every student to learn and grow. His experience in equity-focused school improvement has shown him that lasting, meaningful change occurs when schools embrace culturally responsive practices and acknowledge the unique strengths each student and family brings.
He believes every child can succeed academically and develop socially and emotionally when educators focus on fairness, maintain high expectations and share responsibility with families and communities. Prince’s leadership focuses on building trust and shared responsibility, ensuring family voices are respected and collaboration is purposeful.
He supports a culture where high achievement is expected of all students, and where learning environments are welcoming and supportive. Through teamwork, ongoing communication and strong partnerships, Prince leads efforts to help each student reach their full potential, with a firm commitment to closing opportunity gaps and empowering families, students and educators.
