We must provide programs and targeted support to address the specific needs of all students, particularly those facing systemic barriers. This includes academic support, mental health services, mentorship, culturally relevant resources and initiatives to close achievement gaps. This work requires understanding and addressing the root causes of disparities, in partnership with families, community organizations and other stakeholders.
