Ottawa School Boards Unite to Boost Diversity in Education with Career Fair

The Ottawa Carleton District School Board (OCDSB), Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB), and Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE) are partnering to host a career fair dedicated to increasing representation of black and racialized individuals in education.
The career fair, taking place on May 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ridgemont High School, will provide a unique platform for aspiring and current professionals to explore diverse career pathways within the participating school boards.
The event will offer a wide array of opportunities, spanning teaching, administration, support roles, finance, technology, social work, and more. Attendees will have the chance to directly connect with hiring teams from all three school boards, gaining valuable insights into potential employment opportunities.
