This summer in-person camps and in-person language classes in 7 school locations. We will also offer language classes remotely/virtually.

International Languages Summer Camps provide the opportunity to students to enhance their language skills and intercultural understanding in an engaging and fun-filled learning environment.
A variety of indoor and outdoor activities are coordinated by qualified and energetic language counselors: music explorations, educational games, crafts and group projects, fun workshops, and field trips to museums and experiential learning sites.

Program Duration: July 2 - July 26, 2024
Week 1: July 2-5 | Week 2: July 8-12 | Week 3: July 15-19 | Week 4: July 22-26
Fees (all fees are paid following registration through School Cash Online):
- Les Amis French Full Day Camp: $250/week for 5 days weeks 2, 3, and 4 each (+ 3% transaction fee for School Cash Online) - $200 for 1st week with 4 days
- Los Amigos Spanish Half Day Camp: $150/week /week for 5 days weeks 2, 3, and 4 each (+ 3% transaction fee for School Cash Online) - $120 for 1st week with 4 days
- Additional Pre and Post Camp Supervision:
- $32 for first week of 4 days (Pre Care 8:30-9:00 - $8, Lunchtime Supervision 12:00-1:00 - $16, Post Care 4:00-4:30 - $8)
- $40/week for each of weeks 2, 3, and 4 (Pre Care 8:30-9:00 - $10, Lunchtime Supervision 12:00-1:00 - $20, Post Care 4:00-4:30 - $10)
Cancellation Policy for summer language Camps:
- There is a cancellation processing fee of $20 for all requests
- Full refund if cancellation and refund request is submitted 2 weeks in advance of the program (please also consider the additional $20 cancellation processing fee)
- Half refund if cancellation and refund request is submitted 1 week in advance (please also consider the additional $20 cancellation processing fee)

Due to the processing time for new applicants, students who register after June 17th may not be able to attend the summer language program in its entirety but may still enroll in the program.

OCDSB is offering Virtual Summer International Language Classes through the Continuing Education department again for the 2024 summer session. These classes are available for children in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 and will be delivered through the use of various online tools.

About Virtual Learning: As this is a virtual learning opportunity, in order to participate in this program your child will need to have access to technology and the internet. The total daily amount of instruction includes synchronous online instruction, as well as time that may be spent working on activities independently as assigned by the instructors. Classes will be held through Google Meet, and study material will be posted to Google Sites. Instructors will use methods of communication with parents and students that are equitable and accessible to the students.
